Dillington House is a 16th century manor house located in the parish of Whitelackington, near Ilminster, Somerset. Dillington was in past times the residence of George III's Prime Minister, Lord North, but is today used as an adult education college; conference centre, and wedding venue. The residential and day adult education courses run include subjects such as art, music, language & literature, and photography. Although, owned and operated by Somerset County Council, the public are generally excluded from Dillington House unless attending the annual open day; or taking part in a course or part of a conference or wedding. There is though a public footpath, which allows walkers to get fairly close to the house.

"You haven't mentioned it in your description but there are also a dozen or so allotments in the grounds of Dillington House. These were established when the smallholding that Rosie Boycott was renting folded." Jim Noakes, September 2010
