Yeovil is situated in the south of Somerset, very close to the border with Dorset, the the south west of England. The town is 130 miles from London, 40 miles south of Bristol and 30 miles from the county town of Taunton. Highlights include the Octagon theatre; Agusta Westland helicopter factory; Ninesprings park; Yeovil Railway Centre, and just outside the town, the Jack the Treacle Eater Folly. Yeovil has a population of just under 29,500.
